Unexplained

2 weeks ago, I was going down stairs to get ready for school. I got to the bottom of the stairs and went by the front door. (the stairs are just to the side of the door) I was going about my morning, making myself breakfast and feeding the dogs. I own 2 labradors, the black one is Rex and the reddish one is Jack.

As I made my way upstairs to beush my teeth, Jack and Rex were still eating. I got to the top and was brushing my teeth and I heard this horrible noise that sounded like a cat puking a hairball. I just thought it was Jack coughing.

A little while later, my mom had finished getting dressed for the day and I heard her come out of her room. (It's on the first floor) I waited for a minute and I heard her scream.

In front of the door was a big blood splatter! It was all over the floor and half of the door. Rex and Jack didn't do it. They haven't left the area near their food bowls. When I walked by there on my way up, it wasn't there either. Rex and Jack didn't kill anything. There was no way for an animal to get in our house.

We cleaned up the blood and checkedc the dogs. Neither had any blood on them, not even in their mouths. We were freaked out but still went to school and work.

Later that day, I was in Chemistry class. I was flipping through a few pages when I noticed something. A good section of the pages were stuck together by a wad of dried blood......
